Volvo C30 (2007 - 2012) 2.0D R DESIGN Sport 3d Owner Review

Being 6’2, I’m a big guy so my first thoughts were, it’s a dinky toy, I was wrong, tons of space, great driving position and interior didn’t feel cheap. Drove well handles brilliantly, don’t know if all models had the stiffened strut brace across the engine bay, but very little roll going round corners at all. Ok it’s a four seater (3 with me in it), but even at that passengers still had a good amount of space and seats were all r design so grip you well. Couple of down sides, you can’t change the standard sound system unless you want to fork out £400+ mainly because Volvo added in fibre optics which are tied into the climate control and display, the only other thing I found was my headlights had a tendency to fog up in cold weather, had them checked but no leaks just a Volvo thing no biggie. All in all a great wee car. The 2ltr d. r design only has 136bhp but for such a small car it is very responsive. 6 speed manual was great.
