In their own words

A highly versatile, useable family hatchback that is incredibly comfortable, frugal and cheap to run, low car tax and impressive MPG. On the downside it is slightly underpowered, the 2.0 version might be a better option, the automatic gearbox is good but not great, it can sometimes be a little slow to react, but this could be linked to the lack of power si perhaps the larger engine version wouldn’t suffer from this problem. The cockpit/cabin is surprisingly spacious, sears are firm and very supportive. My version doesn’t have sat nav or heated seats, I would advise shopping around and finding one that does. Passengers in the rear are limited to space but not cramped, however, this is to be expected in a car of this size. The boot is of a reasonable size and shape, easily accessible and useable. To sum up: Pros: cheap to run, great MPG, low tax, low servicing costs, reasonably prices tyres, spare parts etc and incredibly comfortable on long journeys. Cons: 1.6 version is underpowered, the automatic gearbox can be a bit slow and sluggish. To find a well equipped version you need to go for a higher model than the D2 or shop around. Overall rating is 4/5. A very underrated vehicle.
