In their own words

My second V40, having owned an R-Design previously. This was a super offer and cost little more than the R-Design yet has so much more in the way of equipment and is actually marginally more comfortable due to the less-figure-hugging seats. Also the interior being Blonde and with Blonde headlining makes it a light and airy place to be. For me, as one spends so much time driving, the interior has to be visually comforting lovely (IT IS) and out-classes anything comparable in the premium sector of the market. It may not be an obvious choice and some pundits don't like the model in Cross Country guise but I cannot see why not. It is stylish and smooth in every way. Perhaps a few too many driver aids - from the old school, I like to drive my car without prompts and diversionary electronics but with new cars, one has no choice really. Fuel consumption has yet to reach the heights of the old T2 petrol model but as the engine loosens up I have no doubt that I will rejoice yet again in Volvo's ability to make economical and very safe cars. On top of which the dealer (Volvo Poole) have been amazing during the purchase of cars.
