Value
Well priced compared to other Volvos. I'd say I good very good value for money new.
Costs
Depreciated very rapidly. Pricy Dealer servicing. Went through a lot of brake pads for such simple driving

Nice, comfortable, good vision and road feel
Performance
Nothing exceptional, but certainly respectable. Wouldn't want any less than the 1.8, but feel I should have gone for the 2.0

Reliability
It's never let me down, always passes its MOT's but never seems to get through a service without a couple of hundred pounds worth of work needing doing.

Middle of the road - Looks pretty good I think and certainly never gets sneered at.

Yes seems good. Alarm rarely goes off accidentally, but is there when I leave the windows open and someone walks past !

They do an ok job, but it's expensive and I've had a few small issues with them

A lot of brake pads and discs, now they tell me the rear suspension needs work and front (expensive) part of the exhust, whilst not leaking, is making quite a noise - This is a 41,000 mile car with a very pleasent easy life.
