No. A manual small engined diesel maybe but not the D5 Geartronic R Design.
What are you likely to buy next?
Just bought a Ford Smax. Not the same kind of car but better in pretty much every possible way (maybe except the seats).

Loved the idea of a powerful, sporty, comfortable Volvo Estate.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Rubbish! How Volvo managed to take the Mondoe Chassis (which is in my opinion one of the very best chassis' available) and make something so unforgiving and settled is beyond me). The throttle response on the geartronic is all or nothing and the engine is very rough and agricultural at low speeds. The steering wheel is big but the steering is numb and the turning rate is slow. The whole thing gets better when on nice smooth fast roads. Unfortunately that's not how my driving usually is!
What's it like to park?
Difficult. Like many Volvos the turning circle is only marginally better than the Titanic.

Have you had any problems with the car?
Nasty rattling noise from the front end.
What's most practical about your car?
Fairly good boot and interior space.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Good comfy seats.
