The car has been great but the Volvo dealers in the north of Scotland need a real shake up. If I buy another Volvo it will be in the realisation that any repairs or servicing will require a much longer trip to get to a reliable dealership. That will mean a 370 mile round trip !
How reliable do you find the car?
Engine warning light came on so I drove to the nearest Volvo dealer (Aberdeen) to get it fixed. The fix only lasted a few hours out from the dealership but by then I was nearly home. Phoned dealer who told me to return the car even though it would mean another ferry trip (they wouldn’t agree to any other dealer touching it). Having lost faith in the Aberdeen dealership I then drove further to another Volvo dealer who fixed the problem and admitted that the previous “fix” was not carried out - they had just reset the warning light !!About their car
