Would you buy this car again and why?
No. Beautiful car but too many niggly problems and a money pit to run. 24 mpg solo and 18 mpg towing. £500 per service. I no longer need such a big car.

Something like a Nissan X Trail or Qashqai

Did you get a good deal and why?
Got what I wanted for my 940 PX and dealer also agreed to fit new tyres and a detachable towbar at no extra cost.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I had owned 5 Volvo estates and was trading in a 940 which I had owned for 7 years from new.
What was the dealer like?
Not as good as the Volvo dealer they had replaced.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Like driving in your favourite armchair. Huge amount of power and acceleration. Too easy to break the speed limit on motorways. Acceleration from 70 to 110 is awesome.
What's it like to park?
Very poor lock and difficult to see to the rear.

1. Locking fuel filler flap (twice) 2. Throttle linkage 3. Alternator 4. Remote central locking 5. CD player multichanger
What's most practical about your car?
Towing capability and huge carrying capacity
