Should you buy one?

We’ll have to wait until later in the year to get behind the wheel of the Audi Q6 E-Tron, but it looks to be a very promising addition to the premium electric SUV segment.

The Q6’s electric range, technology and quality all look to be up to usual Audi standards, and the increasing choice of versions will only expand its appeal. Those looking for something sportier will also be well-served by the powerful SQ6, though at face value it looks to represent dubious value for money. But the proof will be in the trying of it.

Our only worry is that the price is rather close to the larger and more luxurious Q8 E-Tron, and buyers might be tempted to choose that instead as a result.
