Hyundai Lantra Saloon 1.6 GSi 4d (1998/R) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Very good. Loses a lot of money quickly though.
Costs
Not a single fault, TOUCH WOOD. Windscreen and tyres on this car have been replaced and that's all.

On the road
Driving
Superb. Better than a Vectra or Mondeo. Very surprised.
Performance
Quite fast for a 1.6. 70mph in second gear and still speeds up. Great sounding engine.

Living with it
Reliability
Never broken down and passes MOTs and service tests with flying colours.
Image
I like it, like the grille and the rear lights that look like cat's eyes.
Comfort
Good, but the suspension is a bit loose.

Security and Service
Security
Not the best, but there again I have lost the remote.
Service
Superb and this is probably the best car we have had, and we have had plenty of cars. We are going to upgrade to the Lantra's bigger brother, the Sonata.
