Peugeot has launched a new range of Built for Business van conversions that will be available to buy direct from Peugeot van dealers, complete with the same three-year, 100,000-mile warranty as the base vehicle.
Peugeot Built for Business also promises quick delivery of the converted van and 24-hour parts availability on some models via the dealer network. It essentially brings Peugeot up to speed with partner brand Citroen’s Ready to Run conversions range.
Kicking off the new Peugeot scheme is a range of six conversions based on the Boxer large van:

What are the Peugeot Boxer Built for Business conversions based on?
All six variants are based on the Boxer 335 chassis, and powered by the 160hp version of Peugeot’s 2.0-litre BlueHDI Euro 6 engine with six-speed manual transmission.
This maximises the payload while still making it possible to drive them on a regular car driving licence – exact details of this and the load volume of each model is detailed below.
Every Built for Business Peugeot van will conform to either European Whole Vehicle Type Approval or National Small Series Type Approval.
Peugeot Boxer Built for Business Tipper conversion
The Peugeot Boxer Built for Business Tipper is built by Ingimex, and uses a scissor-type underfloor mechanism, lifting a tipper structure made from steel and aluminium to balance strength and weight. The lifting mechanism has overload and burst protection, and is intended to be maintenance free for the vehicle’s life.
The front gantry features load lashing points with up to a 1.0-tonne rating, while burst load rating is 1.3 tonnes for the hinges and 1.7 tonnes for the side boards and integrated lever lock assemblies. The tail board comes with Chapter 8 high-visibility markings for road safety as standard.
This model is available as an L2 single cab or an L3 crew cab with second row of seats. The payload rating is as high as 1,222kg, while replacement parts are available within 24 hours.
Prices for the Boxer Built for Business Tipper start at £29,350 (excluding VAT).

The load floor is made from a single piece of plywood, with retractable load securing rings around the outside edge, each rated to 800kg. Payload is as high as 1,441kg, with L2 single cab, L3 singe cab and L3 crew cab variations available.
The bolted, modular construction allows for the easy fitting of additional accessories, including tool trunks, folding foot steps, grab handles or tail-lift. Again, parts are available via the dealer network in 24 hours.

Peugeot Boxer Built for Business Luton conversion
The Peugeot Boxer Built for Business Luton uses GRP (glass reinforced plastic) panels mounted to either a galavanised steel or lightweight aluminium frame – the latter increasing payload by as much as 80kg. The Luton section over the top of the cab is shaped for aerodynamic efficiency.
Internal kickplates protect the sides and bulkhead, while both load locking and tie-rail racks offer load securing options, with additional sets of restraints available as required.
A lightweight roller shutter and 500kg tail-lift with dual controls (inside and outside) are fitted as standard, alongside an interior light and external marker lights. It’s available as either an L3 or L4 single cab.
Prices for the Boxer Built for Business Luton start at £31,530 (excluding VAT).

Peugeot Boxer Built for Business Low-Floor Luton conversions
The Peugeot Boxer Built for Business Low-Floor Luton not only makes loading easier thanks to the reduced height of its floor but also increases load volume to 22 cubic metres (from 20 cubic metres max in the standard Boxer Luton). This makes it the largest space available in the Built for Business Boxer range.
Payload is up 1,050kg – though at this stage we’re unclear whether that’s with the regular 14mm GRP body panels or the optional lightweight alternatives, which are said to save as much as 120kg for additional payload. A birch floor and front kick strip are standard.
The lightweight rear barn doors can be replaced with a roller shutter if required. The Boxer Low-Floor Luton comes in a single variant only, and the conversion is the work of Lincoln Commercial Bodies.
Prices for the Boxer Built for Business Low-Floor Luton start at £35,230 (excluding VAT).

Peugeot Boxer Built for Business Curtainside conversion
The Peugeot Boxer Built for Business Curtainside has a similar look to the conventional Boxer Luton, and comes complete with the same over-the-cab pod. The obvious difference is that instead of GRP side panels, this model is fitted with curtains that create openins at the side of 2,080mm for ease of access.
Up to six Euro pallets can be crammed inside, and like the Luton you can opt for aluminium framework to increase payload by up to 80kg. Access at the rear is via barn doors, and a variety of load lashing options are available.
L3 or L4 single cab versions of the Curtainside are offered, with up to 20 cubic metres of load volume, or a maximum payload of 965kg.

The Peugeot Boxer Built for Business Box Body is similar to the Luton and Curtainside, as you’d probably guess. It too uses GRP panels over a steel frame that’s available in aluminium if you’re keen to maximise payload.
Both L3 and L4 single cab variants are offered, with load volume from 17 to 20 cubic metres, and maximum payload of 1,051kg.
The load restraints, rear roller shutter and included tail-lift are also similar to the Boxer Luton.
