Volvo V40 Hatchback (2012 - 2019) D3 SE 5d Owner Review

In their own words
I just purchased the car in November 2020 with 101k miles. It is a D3, 5 pot engine which is reliable and strong and fuel efficient. Which is however my car developed some "minor" engine issues which took nearly 5 months to sort but hopefully it is sorted now. Actually it's EGR valve related but hopefully sorted niw. Early Volvo's famous about the door lock sticking issues which is a pain to repair at home. Usually to change the lock mechanism to a newer model version sorting the problem. This model is basically a brother model with the Focus there are a few parts which is shared between them. So maybe worth to look sometimes Ford parts too maybe it's cheaper. Can't really find second hamd parts as not as many in the breakers. Size wise a bit smaller than the concurrent brands like Civic or Astra but it's more comfortable. The seat position is brilliant for 185 cm height guy. The boot is well enough for packing stuff but seen bigger.
