  • Black leather trim option for new interior
  • Updated engines meet Euro 5 emissions

Toyota's iQ customers can now enjoy even more quirkiness thanks to a new trim option and minor updates.

The all-new grey interior, which comes with contrasting black trims on the doors and coloured fabric materials, can be specified on cars with black, white, blue or silver exterior paint.

New soft-touch materials have been added in order to improve the feel of the cabin along with other details such as contrasting red stitching on the black leather steering wheel.

Customers can also select black leather upholstery on models with the grey interior.

As well as interior updates, the 1.0-litre and 1.33-litre petrol engines have been revised to meet the new Euro 5 emissions standard - with the changes having no impact on performance or fuel efficiency.

The 1.0-litre manual will achieve a claimed 64.2mpg and emits 99g/km of CO2 - costing nothing to tax - while the 1.33-litre manual with stop/start returns 57.6mpg and emits 113g/km, costing £20 a year to tax.

The 2011 iQ is on sale now for £10,158, from your local Toyota dealer.
