The BLS is Cadillac's BMW 3-Series and Audi A4 sized car. It's actually built in the same factory as, and shares many components with the Saab 9-3 (and Vauxhall Vectra), so despite the all-American name it is developed for European tastes and expectations. It looks suitably distinctive and classy, inside and out and does a pretty good job of living up to the expectations that the badge conjures up to UK customers who know only of Cadillacs from film and song. It is this element that will probably sell the car - tell your fellow dinner party guests you own a Cadillac and they'll be impressed. As a bonus it's a pretty good car too. Cadillac's network is growing , but coverage is still limited in the UK so make sure there's a dealer near by before you set your heart on one.
