Overview

Renault has returned to a coupe badge for the three-door version of the Megane, just as it did for the model that ran from 1996-2003. The Megane Coupe has a much sleeker appearance than the hatchback and enough appeal to turn heads of owners of the Hyundai Coupe and perhaps even the Volkswagen Scirocco. However, it still has enough practicality to attract interest from buyers who want a car that looks good and is more useful than traditional coupes.

The engine range and equipment grades are broadly in line with those of the five-door Megane hatchback, but prices are a little higher when buying new. But it’s likely that with its sporty looks the Coupe will maintain a premium on the used market.
