Servicing costs should be moderate and the intervals are a sensible 12,500 miles, but depreciation rates for these large people carriers have suffered in recent years with the number of good compact seven-seat cars on the market.

Nearly all people buying a Grand Voyager will choose the diesel, although many rivals offer less thirsty, more efficient diesel engines. The CRD unit emits 247g/km and returns 30mpg.

The Grand Voyager should be pretty good if the previous version of the car is anything to go by. Some owners encountered niggling problems, but most should enjoy ownership without serious faults.
