Fuel economy

A more stringent standard for fuel economy (WLTP) was introduced from September 2017, and this model was not required to undergo that test. Its fuel economy measured under the previous test system was 42 mpg. However these figures are less likely to be achievable in real world driving and so should never be compared to another car's mpg which was measured under the newer, more realistic WLTP system.

Insurance is an amazingly low group 6, it will average over 40mpg and has wide service intervals. The limited edition nature of the car ought to help keep values stronger too.

C2 is a good choice for eco-friendly buyers. With an average of 158 g/km CO2 across the line-up, its emissions are relatively low for a super mini hatchback. It’s worth noting that the line-up does not feature any diesel models, which typically produce less carbon dioxide than petrol engines with similar power outputs. Eco-conscious buyers should consider the 1.6-litre petrol, which is one of the greenest models in the range.

The range is also fairly economical, averaging 42 mpg.

No major problems have been reported yet. Some of interior trim is a little flimsy and may not stand up to heavy use, but it will probably not suffer mechanical problems as long as it’s serviced properly.
