Mitsubishi is launching a new range of low emission off-road vehicles designed to appeal to user-choosers.
Called the ASX, the new Mitsubishi is badged as an 'urban crossover' which means it has the looks of an off-roader but without all the heavy four-wheel drive running gear that goes with it.
As a result, CO2 emissions range from 135g/km for the front-wheel drive 1.6-litre petrol and 145g/km for the 1.8-litre diesel. A four-wheel drive diesel version is also being offered, emitting 150g/km.
Deigned to rival the Nissan Qashqai, the ASX is priced from £14,999 rising to £22,049.
All models come with start-stop technolog, low rolling resistance tyres, alloy wheels, air conditioning and keyless entry.
The ASX range goes on sale on July 1.
