Volkswagen has revised its saloon-cum-coupe Passat CC model with extra equipment and a fifth seat added.
The new model, which is open for ordering now with deliveries due to begin in July, now has a third seat fitted in the rear as standard.
Extra equipment has also been added, with satellite navigation and Bluetooth telephony now standard. These two items would have cost £1,000 from the options list, but the price of the new model has increased by just £515.
On GT models, buyers receive £3,000 worth of extra equipment (Nappa leather, front and rear parking sensors, and cruise control) for a price rise of £1,000 over the old model.
The engine line-up remains unchanged, with a choice of three petrol engines and two 2.0 TDI diesels with either 140 or 170bhp. The DSG semi-automatic gearbox is available as an option on selected models.
Prices range from £22,520 to £32,995.
