Peugeot has expanded its 3008 range with the addition of a more powerful diesel engine allied to a six-speed automatic gearbox.
The 2.0-litre diesel engine produces 163bhp, returns fuel economy of nearly 43mpg and emits 173g/km of CO2, putting it in the 26% benefit-in-kind tax band.
It is offered in Sport and Exclusive trim levels, with standard equipment including 17-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, cruise control, MP3-compatible stereo and air conditioning.
The Exclusive version adds a panoramic glass roof, head-up display, tyre pressure sensors and climate control.
Prices range from £21,395 to £22,795 and the models are on sale now.
