SEAT has added a new range-topping trim level to the Exeo line up, offering £3,270-worth of extra equipment for £875 extra.

The Tech models, available in saloon and ST estate variants, come with satellite navigation, BOSE stereo, black leather seats and iPod connector as standard.

Previously, these items would have cost £3,270 from the options list, but the Tech models cost just £875 more than the cars on which they are based.

Tech trim can be added to SE or Sport models and come with a choice of two 2.0-litre TDI diesel engines offering either 143 or 170bhp.

SEAT has added the models to appeal to company car drivers as the high-spec versions appear on the price list, making them more available to company car choice lists.

As a result, the difference in benefit-in-kind tax between an SE and SE Tech model is less than £3 a month.

Prices range from £21,270 for a 2.0 TDI SE Tech saloon to £24,175 for a 2.0 TDI 170 Sport Tech ST estate.

The models are on sale now.
