The Qubo’s tall body provides excellent visibility in general, although the windscreen pillars and large door mirrors create a blindspot when approaching junctions and roundabouts. All the main controls are chunky and easy to use and the dashboard is well designed. Some of the cabin materials are hard to the touch, but this isn’t a big surprise in a small car at this price.

The Qubo is tall, so it will accommodate four adults quite easily, with excellent headroom and good knee room. Air conditioning is standard on Dynamic specification (an option on Active models) plus all versions come with electric front windows. Electrically adjustable door mirrors are an option on Active specification. However, there is some wind noise around the large door mirrors, while the diesel makes for a slightly more relaxed drive than the petrol version.
