The Tepee feels fairly sophisticated from the driving seat. Leisure specification models come with velour-covered seats while contrasting colours on the dashboard make the Tepee a pleasant environment in which to travel. The steering adjusts for height and reach and large door mirrors ensure good rearward visibility. The finish and quality of materials is pretty good, although you’re always aware that this is a van-based people carrier and it lacks the sophistication of some other large family vehicles.

There is plenty of room for occupants, although in six or nine-seat versions, the two sharing the twin front passenger seat might feel crowded. A single front passenger seat is a no-cost option. Air conditioning is only standard on the higher specification Leisure model, although both Comfort and Leisure come with electric windows. Access is easy through the sliding rear passenger doors and refined engines offer minimal noise intrusion.
