Renault Kangoo E-Tech dimensions (2022-on)

The Renault Kangoo E-Tech was designed right from the start to have an electric version, so the good news is that this version has the same interior dimensions as the model with a standard engine. The payload and towing capacity aren’t the same, though.

Below are the full dimensions of the Renault Kangoo E-Tech electric van, including its payload and towing ability.

Payload, weight & towing

3.8 out of 5 3.8

The Renault Kangoo E-Tech payload varies depending which version you go for. Oddly, though, it is the longer version that gets the higher rating. This is because the LL model gets a heavy duty rear axle that allows it to take more weight. The LL can take 764kg of payload, whereas the ML is only able to take 608kg. Usually it is the smaller, and therefore lighter, van that has the bigger payload.

Although the ML version of the diesel Kangoo can be fitted with the heavy duty rear axle, the E-Tech version can't, so this oddity will remain the case.

Renault Kangoo E-Tech towing capacity

The Renault Kangoo E-Tech isn’t the only electric van that can tow, but it does have one of the best towing figures – it can take a trailer weighing up to 1,500kg. This is the case for both the ML and LL versions.
