Typical VW attention to detail and perfect ergonomics make it very easy to get comfortable behind the wheel (there’s plenty of seat and steering wheel adjustment) and it feels classy. Well planned tactile controls are pleasing to use.

Rear leg room is not particularly generous but it’s fine for kids, two can sit in the back in some comfort. Interior is reasonably refined and gives the impression of being a cut above the average, with classy materials (although the ‘wood’ finish won’t appeal to everyone).
