The Jaguar XJ has been a success in the UK, but its traditional styling has struggled to win the brand new customers, and sales in the all-important US market have suffered. The paradox of the XJ (a very modern car with very traditional styling) has been tempered slightly with changes that took place during 2007. While the revised exterior styling doesn't transform the appearance of the car, it does seem to make it a little more imposing. The modifications are light on engineering changes, but do offer improved comfort with redesigned seats and improved rear leg room. Diesel offers excellent fuel economy and refinement.
