Summary****-

  • Looks good and sounds even better
  • Poor boot capacity

Nissan's made its most desirable model that bit more special by adding this roadster to the line-up. It keeps the coupé's key ingredients - eye-catching looks, a punchy, sweet-sounding engine and lashings of standard equipment. And as the 350Z was designed to be a drop-top as well as a coupé from the start, the body is almost as rigid as the coupé, with little body flexing which gives it a great drive. It should be on the list of any buyer considering an Audi TT, Chrysler Crossfire or BMW Z4. Changes for 2006 include a power upgrade and better equipment, including the option of factory-fitted satellite navigation. It was upgraded again in 2007 with an extensively modified engine identifed by a bulging bonnet.
