The best Kia Stinger Hatchback for me
If you’re after the most fuel-friendly Kia Stinger on sale then head towards the 2.2-litre CRDi diesel version. It’ll hardly be bargain basement spec though, with a raft of useful standard kit on GT-Line models. Note that while the 2.0-litre T-GDi petrol is the cheapest to buy, sub-thirties claimed combined fuel economy could eat away at the savings over the diesel rather quickly…
If you’re after a company-car-spec Kia Stinger, the 2.2-litre diesel returns the best fuel economy and lowest CO2 emissions.
Finally, those with a taste for performance cars will enjoy the 3.3-litre T-GDi V6, although the cheaper 2.0-litre T-GDi model certainly won’t be wanting for speed with 0-62mph dispatched in just 5.8 seconds.
Kia expects the diesel to be responsible for 40% of sales, with the rest split equally between the two petrols.
