Volkswagen has given the interior a decent refresh over its predecessor. The dash has been revised with new dials, trim finishes and an analogue clock. These revisions are joined by subtle chrome inserts and the option of ambience lighting similar to that found in the Phaeton. The centre console has also been uprated with revisions to the minor controls as well as new door trims.

There have been a number of improvements to make Volkswagen Passat comfort levels that little bit better. The seating has been updated giving improved lumbar and side support while there’s an agreeable driving position. Front seats come with height adjustment, while the steering-wheel also gets rake and reach making driving the Passat a comfortable experience.

There is plenty of interior space for four adults and passengers will be more than comfortable when it comes to long journeys. This seventh generation is noticeably quieter and has a smoother ride than the previous model making it perfect for long-haul driving.
