Fuel economy

A more stringent standard for fuel economy (WLTP) was introduced from September 2017, and this model was not required to undergo that test. Its fuel economy measured under the previous test system was 32 - 50 mpg. However these figures are less likely to be achievable in real world driving and so should never be compared to another car's mpg which was measured under the newer, more realistic WLTP system.

Good fuel economy, but 1.0 will only give official figures with careful driving; low insurance (starts at Group 3); long service interval; holds its value very well. Highly priced, but not overpriced; desirable and sure to remain a top used supermini choice for some time.

Trouble-free motoring almost assured if service schedules are followed; tough bodies and excellent build quality.
