To celebrate the Transporter’s 60th anniversary, Volkswagen is offering special birthday packs with sales of its long-running medium panel van.
The ‘60 Anniversary Pack’ offers new, exclusive and eye-catching add-ons which Volkswagen say will allow T5 Transporter owners to make their vehicles stand out from the crowd.
The pack, which goes on sale on the September 22nd 2014, includes LED running lights, chrome detailing on the mirror caps, side indicators, tail guard and grille, plus ‘Transporter 60’ exterior decals and embroidered waterproof seat covers.
The above picture shows the pack as fitted to the Sportline 60 version of the VW Transporter, which is also designed to celebrate 60 years of the Transporter.
The first 250 customers to order the accessory pack will also receive a copy of a limited edition coffee table book that celebrates the Transporter’s 60 years in the UK.
The Transporter 60 Anniversary pack prices start from £609, and reach up to £1,009 (inc. VAT), although this does include fitting. The pack isn’t on a limited run and will still be available into 2015, although an end date has yet to be set.
