Citroen rebrands conversion programs

  • ‘Relay Ready to Run’ for tippers, dropsides and Lutons
  • ‘Ready to Run Specialist’ for custom-fitted bodies
  •  Enterprise trim level now available on conversions

Citroen has introduced the Enterprise trim level to its conversion range and renamed the two conversion programmes as ‘Relay Ready to Run’ and ‘Ready to Run Specialist Range’. The first will be the new name for Relays ready-fitted with the standardised tippers, dropsides and Luton bodies, while the second will be for any vehicle in Citroen’s LCV lineup with a custom-fitted body.

Whereas it is predicted the three bodies (tipper, dropside and Luton) offered in the ‘Relay Ready to Run’ range will cater for the majority of conversion customers, the ‘Ready to Run Specialist’ programme is available for customers who have specific needs not met by the standardised bodies and are willing to wait a little longer while the vehicle is built.

Relay Ready to Run

Citroen recently invested £2 million in 100 new ‘Relay Ready to Run’ conversions (40 Tipmaster tippers, 30 Ingimex dropsides and 30 Buckstone Lutons) to ensure that Citroen’s dealer network is well stocked with converted vehicles and to minimise the lead times for customers.

In addition to being competitively priced, the ‘Relay Ready to Run’ vehicles are offered with flexible Finance Lease and Contract Hire agreements from CCM (Citroen Contract Motoring) and a full factory warranty.

Ready to Run Specialist

The ‘Ready to Run Specialist’ programme is for other models in the Citroen LCV range or other conversions not covered by the ‘Relay Ready to Run’. These include refrigerated vans, glass carrying vans and the low-loading space vans.

An obvious drawback with the specialist range is that lead times are a lot higher as they are usually built-to-order. Warranties on the ‘Ready to Run Specialist’ conversions are provided by the conversion companies and match that provided by Citroën on the base vehicle.

Enterprise now available on chassis cabs

In addition to the standard trim level, Enterprise specced-Chassis Cabs are available for the very first time. Enterprise models benefit from 5-inch multifunction display with DAB, satellite navigation and USB connectivity, Air conditioning, cruise control and vehicle tracker.
