Isuzu D-Max Fury unveiled for 2015

The Isuzu D-Max Fury is the sixth trim level to join the line-up, and is available from just £19,999 plus VAT.

The Fury is based on the Eiger trim level (£19,499) and for the extra £500, customers get over £2,000 worth of extra kit. Alterations haven’t been limited to the exterior; the cab also receives a makeover and extra gadgets have been included.

Exterior Styling

On the outside, the Fury sports a unique Magma Red metallic paint finish, while bold 17-inch, five-spoke grey alloy wheels shod with 255/65 R17 Pirelli Scorpion tyres for extra traction off-road and to emphasise the pick-up’s powerful road presence.

Black, the Fury’s secondary colour, is used on door and tailgate handles, and rear bumper, while a gun metal grey has been used on the heavy duty side steps and front grille.

Even the interior has been given a distinctive edge with red stitching on the steering wheel and gear knob, and Fury-labelled carpet mats. Customers will also have the option to upgrade the interior upholstery to Limited Edition Black and Red Fury leather, but these are limited to a run of 100 cars.

Fury models also feature a rear parking camera.

Context

The Isuzu D-Max is the newest pickup on the market, and last year was its best ever year for with sales of over 5,500. The growth has continued into 2015 with sales up over 30 percent year to date. The 2015 Mitsubishi L200 is soon to hit the market though, and this will be followed by the 2016 Nissan Navara, 2015 Ford Ranger, 2016 Toyota Hilux and more.

Availability

Isuzu D-Max Fury will go on sale from September priced at £19,999 plus VAT for the six-speed manual and £20,999 plus VATfor the five-speed auto. Like all new Isuzu models sold in the UK, the D-Max Fury will come with the company’s pioneering five-year or 125,000-mile warranty.
