Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a second special edition model called the Sprinter Premium. It follows the 20th Anniversary model launched in 2015, but this one’s comfier and features even more styling upgrades.

Aimed exclusively at small businesses, the Sprinter Premium offers greater levels of comfort, functionality and appearance. The new model includes more than £3,000-worth of kit and is priced from £379 plus VAT a month on contract purchase through Mercedes-Benz Agility.

This 48-month deal and requires a £9,171.94 customer deposit and an optional final payment of £9,100 to own the vehicle outright. Just watch out for the 10,000-mile-a-year mileage cap.

The Premium edition is available with both the 3t and 3.5t gross vehicle weights and all engine options. On the outside, Premium editions feature full silver wheel trims, a chrome-effect radiator grille and Premium Edition badging at the rear to stand out from the crowd.

On the inside, there is an Audio 15 five-inch colour display with the Becker Map Pilot satellite-navigation system, Tempmatic air-conditioning, an outside temperature indicator and a comfort driver’s seat with armrest.

However, the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter already features quite a number of comfort systems as standard, like central locking with remote control, speed-limiter with cruise control and an integrated Bluetooth interface, USB and Aux-in sockets as well as an SD memory card slot and steering-wheel mounted controls.

There is also a whole host of safety systems on board, like Crosswind Assist, which supports the driver in strong, gusty side winds through automatic brake interventions, adaptive brake lights, to warn vehicles behind if you’re braking hard, adaptive ESP, the control system which also takes vehicle load into account, and Rescue Assist QR code stickers, which gives emergency services critical information at the scene of an accident, all as standard.

All Mercedes-Benz vans are backed by the respectable three-year, unlimited-mileage warranty and the 30-year Mobilo Van free roadside assistance cover across the UK and Europe. Customers can also take advantage of the £10-a-month service plan (excluding VAT, based on two services over two years).
