In their own words

So my latest purchase is an Alfa Romeo MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde TCT at first I was a bit apprehensive given how badly the mito has been panned by the automotive journalists however I believe this is the perfect first hot hatch for the young petrolhead! First off I know looks are subjective however I think it looks superb with its 18 inch alloys, subtle body kit and the quadrifoglio verde badge sitting proud on the front wings and to drive its superb the 1.4 multiair has plenty of oomph for a car of this size and the handling is nice and Chuckable. It’s also reasonably well equipped with sat nav, dab radio, Bluetooth, cruise control and parking sensors and it returns about 35mpg which is great for a hot hatch! Bad points: while it is well equipped, the Uconnect screen is laggy, the interior quality could be better there’s lots of cheap plastics to be found but it’s also mixed in with some nice touches such as the DNA drive mode switch which feels nicely weighted and tactile. The ride is also quite unsettled but it’s not unreasonable In summary: it’s a very flawed car as most Alfa’s are however if you are looking to buy your first hot hatch I’d fully recommend them as you can now pick them up for very reasonable money!
