In their own words

Do not buy a new 2020 or 2021 plate Audi without researching the problems with the SOS button and various other faults on the MMI. I bought a new Audi in December 2020 when the finance on my 2014 A3 was coming to an end. From a week after delivery I experienced a catalog of fault codes and errors, and the car had to go back to Audi several times. When they were unable to fix the issues they finally agreed to replace the car for me as they could not find a fix but they assured me it was a one off issue with the vehicle I had. Reluctantly I agreed to this but the replacement car has all the same faults as the first one. I have been sent on a wild goose chase between two dealers and Audi Uk but nobody ever takes any responsibility for the problems. I am now stuck with a faulty car for the foreseeable future. This was my first experience of buying a brand new car and I am so disappointed by the Audi brand. I will never buy another one after this. I’d rather drive a reliable old banger than have this constant stress of fault codes beeping and lights flashing when driving. My new Audi is probably one of the worst cars I’ve ever owned. Buyer beware
