What does this car say about you?
The Audi image was more positive 20 odd years ago. The trend now is to be branded as road hogs tailgaters the image BMW drivers had 20 odd years ago. Other than that the Le Mans and prior to that the Rally Kings of motor sport.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
No idea.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No the family is getting smaller the kids have flown the nest so a new A1 is already on order.
What are you likely to buy next?
A1 Sportback 1.4TFSi Sport March 13. The closest modern car to the Mk1 Golf Gti ? Sportback to my eyes looks better than the 3dr.

I feel I got a good deal I have delt with them from 1989 and they treat me well.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Previously owned a A3.
What was the dealer like?
Very good.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Driving is good nice ride and covers the miles well.
What's it like to park?
Visability is poor when reverse parking, But this is common now adays with the saftey features. My Mk2 Scirocco is a blast to park as is my Mk1 Golf GTI.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
I have not used it as much as expected due to many reasons the milage at present is 28K and over the period it has had one service and gives 39.9mpg.
What's most practical about your car?
5 doors is a boon.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Cruise control. An added extra.
