Other Audi A4 (2008 - 2015) models:

  • Summary

    4 out of 5 4.0

What does this car say about you?

    Don't know.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Quite a few comments about the lovely car, mainly because of the striking blue colour. Mins finished in Scuba Blue metallic.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes. Nice to drive and meets all my needs. Would have 17" wheels next time to improve ride and economy.

What are you likely to buy next?

Don't know - split between this or BMW 3 series touring.

  • Buying experience

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Independent

Did you buy this car new?

    No

    What price did you pay?

    £19,000

When did you buy the car?

    October 2015

Did you get a good deal and why?

Not really. Car was very overpriced on forecourt, and when I pointed this out to him, he dropped the price by £2000 right away. But he then dropped my trade in value by £1000 as well. You can't win!

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

    Needed automatic estate.

    What was the dealer like?

OK. Professional enough and keen to sell, but I had to drive a very hard bargain. If I'd paid his original asking price I'd have been fleeced.

  • Driving it

    4 out of 5 4.0

    What's it like to drive?

Nice and smooth. Engine refined and unobtrusive. Ride a little bit jiggly on 18" wheels that came on car.

    What's it like to park?

Quite easy. Parking sensors and on screen display as mentioned earlier make it a doddle.

  • Living with it

    4 out of 5 4.0

Have you had any problems with the car?

No so far, but only had it a month.

What's most practical about your car?

Electric opening tailgate. Very useful when coming with arms full of boxes, as I do every day for work.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Front & rear parking sensors with on screen display. A necessity on a fairly long car like this, especially when you are continually parking it, as I do when out working.
