Value
Used prices now are as low as a three year old Fiesta, but you get a real drivers car with great levels of kit.
Costs
A little thirsty if you feed it Optimax like I do and still love the exhaust tone when you use the revs, otherwise very reasonable - even insurance for a 23 year old is bearable.

Driving
Smooth through the gears and lovely interior even in low spec car.
Performance
This is no supercar but it still makes me smile every time I use my right foot - especially when the result is seeing some Kev in a hot hatch appearing in the rear view mirror!!

Living with it
Reliability
Its an Audi, service it properly and it will go forever, mine is nearing 160 000miles and still purring.

Unusual and sophisticated, but also muscular to look at, I still look back at it after I park up on the drive.
Comfort
Recently drove 6 1/2 hours to Cornwall in traffic and arrived without feeling knackered - can't say the same for my last car.

Security
Standard alarm and immobiliser seem fine - although had to abandon Direct Line Insurance as they wanted me to fit another immobiliser. It's still on the drive!
Service
Surprisingly good for a 9year old car.
