Audi TT Coupe (2014 - 2023) 1.8T FSI Sport 2d Owner Review

First Audi and it really has exceeded my expectation even with being the basic model. Paid for different paint on order of car and it is a stunningly beautiful car to look at. Beautiful lines and design. It's actually the main reason I bought it! Does very well on fuel economy on longer journeys and overdrive is excellent and easy to use. Up and down the gears it's not so good!! Interior is simple but again very nice to look at, hasn't become rattly at all and is very comfortable to drive and feel very safe on the car. Definitely not designed for rear passengers!! Engine runs very smoothly as does the gear box which is an absolute dream. Boot space is huge and always surprises those who do not know about it! Alot fits into the boot! Tyres have been its achilles heal. It picks up alot of sharps/debris off the road and have regularly needed to have repairs or replacement tyres. At £160 each I can do without that! That said, Audis are heavy cars so can't co.llain too much as this is a big factor towards its superb road handling and sense of security and feeling confident it will do what you ask 100%of the time - and I do ask ot to perform quote alot to the annoyance of my wife! Fuel consumption around town is pretty dire but otherwise pretty impressive. I literally love this car. It is a dream to own and enjoy and is by far the car I have enjoyed, loved, and had the most safe and pleasure driving!! The biggest problem with owning a TT, or any Audi I would guess, is not the car but is Audi themselves. Customer service IMO is disgusting and they don't want to know or even have you in the showroom unless you are spending money! Regardless of your Audi parked outside! They only want your money and make it pretty damned obvious! It's a real shame as that alone has dented my Audi experience and will never buy another Audi because of it. Car itself SUPERB. Great piece of engineering. I love it. Du dum du dum. Lol.
