Idiot for buying a petrol BMW.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They like it but they don't pay the fuel bill.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No no no no no no no....
What are you likely to buy next?
Any car that doesn't make a bonging sound every 5 minutes...whether it be a fuel bong, tyre bong, door bong or just a random bong for the hell of it. We actually renamed the car the BMW bong series.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Slightly above book price but good for a one owner fully serviced car.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I had always wanted a 1 series since they were new on the market...however, buying one with your heart instead of your head is not a wise idea.
What was the dealer like?
A bit smug to be honest and got quite arsy with me regarding log books etc. The car was on a private plate when offered for sale, which had to be changed prior to sale - a lengthy process.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
My 56 plate MX-5 was much better (and more economical) but BMW is not bad for the size of it.
What's it like to park?
Doddle....it's not a land yacht.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing...have not spent a penny on it since buying it so really very good in this respect and can't fault it.
What's most practical about your car?
Rear doors and the round things that touch the road to make it move along.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Business Pack ambient lighting.
