In their own words

I've owned my E46 M3 for about 12 years and can't see me ever selling it. Used it as a daily for a good number of years and it was brilliant at those duties. Practical enough with room in the back and a decent boot, but so much fun whenever you needed it. They're getting on a bit now and enthusiasts will point to things like rod bearings, Vanos and rear subframe/boot floor being things to get looked at/replaced/repaired - mine has most of that done, but now is more of a weekend car. They're obviously not as powerful or fast as some of the more modern sports cars but have never found that an issue out on the road - the M3's power is all exploitable which adds to the real drivers appeal and not sure i've ever been outgunned. Might be different on a drag strip though. I do still drive it when I can and always surprised how small it looks next to the big grey cars of today. I'm so glad I still have something to drive with a bit of soul... every time I take it out I fall in love with it all over again.
