Driving BMW since 2000 and never had let me down. You have wear and tear things. All moving parts wear. But bmw does really good mechanics, so break pads or caliper change is usually need to be done at least once in 5 years. All parts for Series 3 are quite reasonably priced, just need good garage not to rip you off.
