My 3rd five series. Overall the car is superb, but major improvement in ride comfort (and road noise) after ditching RFT tyres. Drivetrain in 530d sublime with effortless performance, yet returning 50mpg on longer journeys, 30-42 on urban / shorter trips. Opted for SE model instead of M Sport but added other extras including Adaptive cruise with Head up display. Head up display is fantastic - only problem is I won't buy another car without this feature...!
How reliable do you find the car?
Software update required after DPF issue. BMW dealer failed to carry out oil service correctly leading to large oil leakage. Run flat tyres removed ..replaced with Michelin cross climate - massive improvement in ride comfortDoes the car do everything you expected it to do?
