What does this car say about you?

no idea, maybe i like sports, and as only 2 seats i have no kids!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

the all seem to like it. and my neighbour said to let him know 1st when i sell it.

Would you buy this car again and why?

yes, but a not especially a faster version, the speed isnt 1st thought when buying a car. i would probably get a higher spec, leather seats, electric roof.

What are you likely to buy next?

would like to buy the bmw z4 coupe or my mate is selling his boxter for £17k so I could be tempted to change sooner rather than later.

Did you get a good deal and why?

private sale, paid £4400 but that included a brand new hardtop roof and the bag and the stand, which are around £1000 or more to buy, and getting hard to find.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

great looks, wanted a two seat sports car but not a girly mx5 or mg

What's it like to drive?

considering its 11 years old now, and its a small 2 seater, low to the ground it drives better than other far newer cars ive had, holds the road well, quick enough for a 1.9 and lets be honest you cant go more than 100 yards before a speed camera slows you down, a nice ride even on longer trips you dont really feel it. my girlfriend used to have a mg, which was terrible to drive, it felt you sat on it not it, but the bmw is a bmw it drives exactly how it looks.

What's it like to park?

the long nose makes it tricky to see how close you are to any high kerbs, likewise the back is so short, you cant see it from the driving position so when you reverse park you end up parking miles away from the wall or what ever... but after a month or so you soon get used to it.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Not really, its 11 years old and went through the mot no problems, and a only required a basic service when i took it to a local garage to give it a once over. It had a leaking passenger window where it meets the windscreen, but i knew about it when i brought it and i have fixed it with a discrete blob of black silicone.

What's most practical about your car?

didnt buy it for its practical use, but as itturns out it isn't to bad, I just about get the weekly food shopping in the boot, so I'm guessing I'll get a couple of weekend travel bags in easy enough.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

the pedal under your right foot, it makes a half decent noise for a 1.9 and it also makes it go faster.
