Value
Not a cheap car but good residuals offset initial outlay.
Costs
Overall very competitive good fuel economy reasonable insurance but service cost are not cheap.

On the road
Driving
Superb Road holding feels very planted and fun. Very agile changes direction well and stays flat it the corners. Prone to understeer only right on the limit and the backend can step out in the wet but the DSC is excellent at keeping things in check.
Performance
Excellent overall a fast car with plenty of mid-range punch a little turbo lag. But a very revy and a almost petrol like diesel.

Well BMW badge is enough for some but styling is unique and starting to grow on me. The BMW badge however is percived by other people as an uncourteous, lane hogging and tailgating driver and being let out of junctions can be a nightmare.
Comfort
Seats are excellent and very supportive ride is on the firm side due to the runflats which is made slightly harder by having 17"" wheels. SE suspension more compliant than sport with very little extra roll.
