Got a reasonable trade-in with the 330d but paid full price otherwise since new style was in demand.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Had the 330d, wanted the 5-series new style body with the same diesel engine.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Comfortable and reasonably luxurious. Anti-roll suspension allows sports performance on winding roads.
What's it like to park?
Good enough for size. Variable ratio steering helps.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
About half a dozen software update manufacturers recalls in a couple of years. Red warning "do not drive" steering and suspension fault" - Taken on transporter to main agent. Software fix.
What's most practical about your car?
Bags of torque up to 80mph or so. 36mpg or better on a run.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Steerable xenon headlights
