Value
Very cheap to buy - look for well looked-after examples.
Costs
Very cheap to run. Average 39mpg which included plenty of city driving. Cheap ins, tax and parts.

Driving
Good 'feelsome' steering and decent grip throw in with a good helping of body roll. Average breaks and a poor gearbox.
Performance
4 gears so long second gear is great for town. Light car so no too slow - hills on motorways best avoided.

Reliability
Just better than average. Mine was 15 years old so expected the odd thing to go wrong. Broke down twice in 15 years.

Decent seats and heater, but lots of noise and a average ride quality.

Broke down due to knackered battery and then alternator. Electrically quite stable.
