  • Economy

    Value

    5 out of 5 5.0

Excellent value and good spec compared to other equivalent models

    Costs

    5 out of 5 5.0

Had the car 5 years and apart from the cambelt change at 70k which cost £500 at Citroen dealer (ripoff - go to local diesel specialist garage now) have only spent about £5-600.

  • On the road

    Driving

    4 out of 5 4.0

Very good drive, but no airbags

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

Acceleration is not wonderful, but is an old diesel, but is fine when on motorway and when turbo kicks in.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    4 out of 5 4.0

Very good especially considering it has only had 1 service since 2000 (done 40K since)

    Image

    3 out of 5 3.0

Even though the car is 12 years old don't think it looks too out of date - i like it because i don't care about the image

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

With its air suspension this car is probably the most smooth drive you can get, but the seats leave you with backache on any journey over 2-3 hours long. Very spacious, but long for a/ c in the summer

  • Security and Service

    Security

    4 out of 5 4.0

Has deadlocks immobiliser and alarm - no problems so far + who would want to nick a diesel Citroen!

    Service

    2 out of 5 2.0

I think that Citroen are too expensive and you are better off finding a garage that specialises in diesels
