Value
But only because I had a very large discount! At list price it would get a rating of 2. Lots of options had to be added, even to Ghia spec.
Costs
Economy not too good so far (25mpg round town and up to 38 on a long run).

Excellent handling, very good ride. All controls nicely weighted.
Performance
Took a while to loosen up, but now is very good. Could do with a little more torque though.

Interior rattles after less than 2000 miles! Problems with brakes squeaking (when you pull away again - not when braking!), Ford quality doesn't seem to have improved much over the past few years.

Looks pretty good. Ford badge neither good or bad image.

Seats comfortable, plenty of space front and rear.

Dealer is pretty useless. Not very good at solving problems, no idea what customer service is, have to wait about a month if you want a courtesy car. Still waiting for a handbook that includes my car's engine. Ford have no idea when they will be available

Engine only half filled with oil when new, various rattles, brake problems (needing a Ford UK technician who still couldn't solve it), stain on climate control display, handbook doesn't include my engine.
