Would you buy this car again and why?

I sold it after 13 months on a 'Sunday afternoon whim' after looking round showrooms. Although I only paid 9+k for the car, I think they are really quite expensive new now. The fact that the car was ex-rental didn't really matter to me, but was hidden at time of purchase. I was a bit alarmed at the depeciation, as had dropped by a big percentage given my 13 months of ownership. Had I had it from new the residual value would be terrible.

Have just part-exchanged my Cee'd for a 2 year old Mercedes CLC

Did you get a good deal and why?

It seemed like a good deal as the price for a one year old car with 9000 miles seemed good compared to the list price. Also was offered 0% finance and a good trade in price on my 3 year old Skoda vRS. The car turned out to be ex-rental fleet once I got V5, but that did not bother me, but was never mentioned before, it was said to be 'ex-Kia management' whatever that means!

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

There was heavy advertising from nearby Kia garage of a batch of year old Kia Ceed's for sale, with 0% finance offered. Already had a Ceed in the household

What's it like to drive?

Easy, good accelaration

What's it like to park?

Sometimes the rear pillars restricted visibilty

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing went wrong in the 13 months I had the car.

What's most practical about your car?

Very spacious and comfortable. This was the lower powered diesel model, but did not feel very different from the higher powered model which is also in the household. Long term average mpg was about 51, with a mixture of driving

Connection to ipod was useful, car had all the gadgets
